ALL content on Warcast is generated by artificial intelligence algorithms WITHOUT human intervention, review, or pre-prompting. Our AI systems analyze news articles and generate threat assessments automatically. No human validates or edits these assessments before publication. The only human-in-the-middle can happen when adjusting wrong scores for the ML improvement pattern.

Understanding AI Limitations:

  • • AI Makes Mistakes: AI systems can and will make incorrect assessments. Don't rely exclusively on it while taking important decissions.
  • • No Human Oversight: Our threat levels, predictions, and analyses are generated entirely by AI without human review or correction.
  • • Pattern Recognition Errors: AI may misinterpret events, conflate unrelated incidents, or miss critical context that a human analyst would understand.
  • • Bias and Inaccuracy: AI models can perpetuate biases present in training data and news sources, leading to skewed assessments.

Political Neutrality Statement

Warcast is completely apolitical and maintains strict neutrality.

  • • We do not favor any nation, government, political party, or ideology
  • • Our AI analyzes events based solely on potential conflict escalation patterns
  • • We aggregate news from diverse sources including state media from various countries
  • • Threat assessments are based on military/conflict keywords, not political positions

The inclusion of news from any source does not imply endorsement of that source's political views or accuracy.

Open Code Transparency

Our code is not entirely open source, but can be available for inspection by any interested party.

We use minimal cookies:

1. Preference Cookies (First-party)

Used solely for remembering your display preferences:

  • • warcast_theme: Your theme preference (if implemented)
  • • warcast_filters: Your saved filter settings
  • • warcast_view_mode: Your preferred view layout

These cookies contain no personal information and are not used for tracking.

2. Google Analytics (Third-party)

We use Google Analytics to understand usage patterns:

  • • _ga: Distinguishes unique users (2 years)
  • • _ga_*: Maintains session state (2 years)
  • • _gid: Distinguishes users (24 hours)

Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization enabled. We do not collect personal information.

No tracking cookies: We do not use advertising cookies, social media cookies, or any form of cross-site tracking.

Privacy Policy

Data Collection

  • • Personal Data: We do not collect names, emails, or personal information
  • • Wallet Addresses: If you connect a Solana wallet for War Room access, only your public wallet address is stored
  • • Usage Data: Anonymous analytics via Google Analytics (page views, session duration)
  • • Server Logs: Standard web server logs (IP addresses are not retained)

Data Usage

  • • Analytics data helps us understand which features are used
  • • Wallet addresses are used solely for access control to premium features
  • • We never sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties
  • • We do not engage in any form of user profiling or targeted advertising

Data Retention

  • • Preference cookies: Until you clear your browser cookies
  • • Google Analytics data: 26 months (Google's default)
  • • Wallet addresses: Until you request deletion
  • • Server logs: Automatically purged after 7 days

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • • Disable cookies in your browser
  • • Use ad blockers to prevent Google Analytics
  • • Request deletion of your wallet address (if applicable)
  • • Access our code to verify our practices (open PR in the public repo and read access will be provided)
