Iran’s Araghchi denies contact with US envoy Witkoff Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says his last communication with US envoy Steve Witkoff took place before Washington launched its latest military strike on Iran. Writing on X on Monday, Araghchi said there had been no communication after the attack, rejecting suggestions that diplomatic contact had continued. “My last contact with Mr Witkoff was prior to his employer's decision to kill diplomacy with another illegal military attack on Iran,” he wrote.
